The danger zone light projects a bright red or blue line on the floor to keep pedestrians away. This zone can be adjusted to the distance of your choice.
Halo Rule: Maintains that one must always stay three feet away from forklifts. This creates a “safety halo” that consists of a two-ring zone – the danger zone and the warning zone. Danger Zone: This is the zone within three feet of a forklift. If a pedestrian is within three feet, the operator must stop.
Stay out of their DANGER ZONE— at least 3 feet away from a forklift in moƟon, more if the op- erator is lifting a load. If they are lifting a load, stay 1 foot away for every foot they are lifting a load up. So if lifting into a rack 6 feet up, stay back at least 6 feet.
